$150,000 in prize money for eligible horses at one of the cow horse industry's most defining stages.
Eligible horses must be bred and raised by:

Sale Graduate Incentive
Annual Award
$7,500
Created to reward performance beyond sale day and celebrate the continued success of R.A. Brown Ranch Family & Friends Horse Sale graduates across a wide range of competitive disciplines.
Every horse sold through the 2026 sale
Eligibility is automatic, with a short nomination form required to participate.
Highest official earnings
Based on earnings reported through EquiStat or Robin Glenn / QData.
March 11, 2026 - March 1, 2027
The winner will be honored during A Rancher's Rendezvous 4.0 in March 2027.
Eligibility follows the horse.
Ownership may change, but the horse's incentive eligibility remains intact.
Once eligible, always eligible.
Sale graduates remain eligible every year the program is offered, at least through the 2028 season.
Each sale adds more contenders.
In 2027, graduates of both the 2026 and 2027 sales can compete for the annual award.

Are these two separate incentive programs?
Yes. The Family Cow Horse Incentive rewards eligible horses at the 2026 Snaffle Bit Futurity. The Sale Graduate Incentive is an annual earnings award for eligible Family & Friends Horse Sale graduates.
Does a 2026 sale horse remain eligible after this first season?
Yes. Once eligible, a horse remains eligible every year the Sale Graduate Incentive is offered, at least through the 2028 season.
What happens if an eligible sale graduate is sold?
Eligibility transfers with the horse, regardless of a change in ownership.
Which earnings records are accepted?
Submit official earnings reported through EquiStat or Robin Glenn / QData.
Where do I submit my nomination?
Send the short nomination form and official earnings report to the R.A. Brown Ranch office. Forms are available in buyer packets and by contacting the ranch.
