Miller Cattle Company is a composite operation of kids, cows,
dogs, crops and lately, a county fair bucket calf. Chuck and
Christi Miller raise cows and kids on the lush, green grass and
rolling hills of central Missouri.
The Millers produce SimAngus genetics utilizing their herd of
Simmental and SimAngus cows A.I.’d to the best Angus, Red Angus
and SimAngus genetics to optimize heterosis. The purchase of
quality donors has allowed an increased use of embryo transfer
to capture proven genetics, where R.A. Brown Hotlander cows are
employed as recipients. The SimAngus herd is multi-generational,
extremely functional, fertile and multi-trait balanced.
Off the farm, Chuck is the vocational agriculture teacher and
FFA advisor at Hickman High School in Columbia. Christi is a
communications specialist at Boone Electric Cooperative. Their
children, Abby (5) and Ethan (2), love the farm and especially
helping with chores.
We are thankful to God for the opportunity to raise our children
in such a grand environment and lifestyle. We strive to use His
resources to the best of our ability and to live in a way that
will be pleasing to Him.
